At NIO, our core values are Honesty, Care, Vision and Action, and we aim to incorporate these principles into everything we do. One value that we’ve seen employees embody is Care. Many of our employees participate in a year-round program where we partner with Second Harvest Food Bank to sort food and fundraise. We’re honored to share that our Silicon Valley headquarters was awarded the Silver Award at Second Harvest Food Bank’s 2018 Make Hunger History Awards in recognition of our commitment to end local hunger.

In November and December, NIO participated in our third annual Second Harvest Food Bank’s Fundraiser and Food Drive for the holiday season. With our support, Second Harvest Food Bank was able to provide 55 million nutritious meals to kids, families and seniors and 21,239 turkeys during the holidays in neighborhoods throughout Silicon Valley.

NIO employees also volunteer their time at the Second Harvest Food Bank San Jose location to help sort food throughout the year. We are thankful for our employees who continuously live out our CARE company value and support giving back to our local community. #lifeatNIO #MakeHungerHistory
