Oliver Turvey has a notable single-seater and sportscar racing career stretching over twenty years. He has competed in the GP2 Series, Formula Renault 3.5, the FIA World Endurance Championship and continues in his long-standing role as McLaren F1 simulation/test driver.
Oliver was the recipient of the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Award in 2006 and concluded the year as vice champion in Formula BMW. 2008 was a stellar year for the Briton when he was awarded the Dunhill Future Champion Award at the ‘Goodwood Festival of Speed’, the British Racing Drivers' Club ‘National Racing Driver of the Year’ (as British F3 Vice Champion) and a University of Cambridge Extraordinary Full Blue for Motorsport - the first and only to be given in the sport to date.
