Studio Sina Steiner dances on the border of art, design, and interior architecture, creating collectible sculptural objects that engage in a dynamic interplay with their surroundings. With a foundation in interior architecture, Sina explores form, color, and light in unexpected playful ways, turning ordinary spaces into extraordinary environments with or being the extra ordinary in everyday life.

Each piece is a handcrafted expression of happiness made of clay, and sometimes a neon glow, where structure meets spontaneity. By manipulating materials with precision and playfulness, the works evoke a sense of wonder, inviting viewers to interact, explore, and smile.

Lisanne Meester is a designer and maker of statement piece furniture for outspoken interiors. In her designs she likes to show constructional elements and materials that others might try to hide, such as big bolts, plywood edges and concrete. She finds beauty in these and uses them as key features of her designs. Lisanne makes high quality pieces that can be used in bold interiors and retail settings and creates true attention seekers for your space, brand or vision.

At first glance, you might not pair the measured precision of Lisanne Meester with the tactile intuition of Studio Sina Steiner. One sketches her way through structure, the other molds her thoughts directly with her hands. But here they are, side by side in Constructing Moments, a collaborative exhibition born from a chance encounter and sustained by a shared instinct, to let a form emerge from feeling and fascination.

Their creative processes might diverge, Lisanne hunts for harmony in proportion and material, while Sina dives straight into substance, letting texture and awareness guide her hand. Yet what binds them is something deeper, a commitment to catching the exact second when an object stops becoming and simply is. That moment, fleeting, intuitive, final, is what this exhibition is built around.

Each piece on display is a time capsule of sorts, capturing a spark of creative flow frozen just before it vanishes. But the story doesn’t end there. Once these works leave the studio, they start a new chapter in someone else's hands, home, or headspace. They become fragments of future memories, anchors for personal rituals, expressions of identity, and quiet statements of style.

Now, these moments have found a home at NIO House Rotterdam, where the duo's pieces are presented in a curated dialogue that celebrates contrast, connection, and craft.
