Tides of the Self
by Aušrinė Pudževytė
A solo show, Tides of The Self explores the connection between water, the body, and emotional healing.

A solo show, Tides of The Self explores the connection between water, the body, and emotional healing. Water becomes a living metaphor for memory, care, and transformation flowing, absorbing, and holding traces of experience.
The exhibition reflects on identity, vulnerability, and resilience, inviting the viewer into a quiet space of reflection and feeling. Most of the works take the form of stylised portraits, inspired by the artist’s personal diary and water elements.

Aušrinė Pudževytė (Im Aube) is a Lithuanian mural artist and painter exploring human connection, emotion, and storytelling through stylised portraits. As a traveling artist, she has created murals in over 30 countries, leaving meaningful visual narratives in public and shared spaces worldwide.
Her work centers on imagined faces symbolic reflections of memory, place, and feeling recognised by their large, expressive eyes and distinctive proportions. Each piece acts as a visual diary, shaped by her experiences, encounters, and the cultures she moves through.

Working in a contemporary figurative style, she integrates elements of local culture and environment, creating site specific murals that connect to their surroundings.
Through her art, she transforms spaces into moments of reflection, inviting viewers to find their own story within each piece.
