Beijing, China – November 25 – NIO’s first user center, NIO House, has officially opened on Beijing’s Chang’an Avenue. Nearly one thousand NIO users and fans attended the opening ceremony and activities.
NIO House functions as a living space for NIO’s users and their friends. NIO House represents NIO’s vision for what car ownership should be. NIO House provides NIO’s users with experiences that go beyond the car. The first NIO House, which occupies over 32,000 square feet, has two floors and seven main areas. It is Beijing’s largest brand experience center.
NIO Founder and Chairman, William Li stated, “We have always said that NIO is more than a car company. Today, we are proud to unveil our first NIO House. As we prepare to officially launch the NIO ES8 on December 16, we would like everyone to first experience what makes NIO especially unique— NIO’s beyond the car experiences. The NIO House is a special place where our loyal users can grow together with our brand .”
NIO’s latest production car, the NIO ES8, is scheduled to be officially launched on December 16, when sales of the car will officially begin. NIO plans to open NIO houses in 10 different cities across China by the end of 2018. Each NIO House will be located in each city’s central business district, will occupy over 1,000 square meters and will each have an unique layout to suit local users’ needs.
