          <p>Beijing, China – August 31, 2018 – Today, NIO announced they will launch a limited collection of clothing with fashion icon Hussein Chalayan MBE. The limited collection will be launched during Shanghai Fashion week on October 12, 2018.</p>

<p>Hussein Chalayan has been called “the Picasso of fashion.” His works often break the boundaries between science, technology, architecture and visual arts.</p>

<p>Chalayan has won British Designer of the Year twice. Designers competing against him for the award included Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, and Paul Smith. Chalayan is also one of the few fashion designers to have been awarded the MBE in 2016. Other designers that have received the award include, Phoebe Philo, former design director of Celine, and shoe designer Manalo Blahnik.</p>

          <p><em><strong>19 April 2018, Calafat, Spain</strong>:</em> NIO Formula E Team took to the track in Calafat, Spain this week to commence its FIA Formula E Season 5 Testing Programme with the NIO 004 development chassis.<br />
<br />
Designed to be used for the next three seasons, the Gen2 Formula E car will make its competitive debut in the 2018/19 season of the series. With almost double the energy storage capacity and double the range of the current car, the Gen2 will enable the teams to complete a full race at higher speeds, without making a mid-race car swap.<br />
<br />
British driver of the #16 NIO Formula E Team NIO 003 car, Oliver Turvey, was behind the wheel of the futuristic new challenger for all driving duties this week.</p>

“Firstly, it was an honour and proud moment for me to be the first driver to turn a wheel in the NIO Formula E Team's new Gen2 Formula E car this week in Calafat. As it was the first run of our new car, we ran through a number of installation and systems checks gathering data for the team. <br />
My first impressions of the car are very positive; it looks fantastic and is a clear step forward in terms of performance. But now the real works starts.”<br />

“The NIO Formula E Team has run its Gen2 Formula E chassis at Calafat Circuit this week, conducting an extensive powertrain systems check and initial development chassis performance programme.<br />
It was great to be back at Calafat, the team’s chosen test circuit, and this week has witnessed another milestone in the history of the NIO Formula E Team with the first running of the NIO squad’s Season 5 challenger. Over the two days of track running we have completed extensive chassis and powertrain systems checks with the NIO 004 development chassis and I am happy to say that both the car and the newly formed NIO Test Team has functioned well.<br />
We are now looking forward to commencing our proper Manufacturer Testing Programme with the NIO 004 development chassis in the coming months.”</p>

          <p>17 April, 2018, Oxford/Shanghai: NIO Formula E Team Reserve Driver, Ma Qing Hua, shall be given the opportunity of racing at the forthcoming Paris E-Prix, 28 April 2018.</p>

<p>Qing Hua, who has participated in the FIA Formula E series in the past, will take charge of the #68 NIO 003, affording him valuable practical experience and race mileage accruement with the Team.</p>

<p>He tested with NIO Formula E Team in the summer of 2017 and in his role as Reserve Driver, NIO has continually incorporated Ma in pre-race event preparations, including Driver-In-the-Loop Simulation sessions with the engineers. However, with this opportunity, NIO is now intensifying his preparation for Paris at the Performance Programme’s HQ in Oxfordshire until the Team departs for the French capital next week.</p>
