Job Title: Staff Autosar Software Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Team Charter:

Digital System team is responsible for designing and architecting the electronic and software systems for the next generation vehicles with full autonomous driving capabilities, and also developing core components (including hardware, software, tools, etc) from ground up. Our mission is to innovate next generation vehicle architecture and make it happen on massive production vehicles.

Responsibilities

Role of Architect in project life-cycle where Legacy automobile ECU software application along with Legacy OS and Fault Handler will be transitioned to Autosar Architecture.

Provide solutions / comparative consultancy for Autosar Classic and Adaptive architectures.

Should be able to provide thought solution due to practical experience, which are not obviously available on Autosar literature.

Autosar based Embedded Software Development for Safety products following ASPICE compliance processes

Responsible for all SW development life cycle phases Requirement Analysis, Design, Coding & Testing/Verification

Perform Autosar Modeling and System Configuration (SWC Compositions like Component instances, connectors)

Setup and configure Autosar BSW Modules

Work with various competencies in developing new technologies and products

Analysis and systematic problem solving for SW reported issues

Qualifications

At least five (5) years of software development experience with developed proficiency in Autosar framework

Detail oriented and engineering excellence in previous work.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline. M.S. preferred with 8+ years of experience

At least one related project as software architect as a thorough understanding of the role of a software architect in the project lifestyle is necessary

Must have proficiency with configuration for Autosar 4.0 and above

Must have proficiency with application migration and configuration on Autosar stack

Must have hands-on experience with Infineon, NXP, RENESAS microcontroller and MCAL

Strong hands-on experience in software development in embedded environment

Knowledge of OS and OS-level architecture

Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, J1939, ethernet, etc

Knowledge of 32bit microcontrollers

Preferred Qualifications

· Familiar with CAN, LIN, and Etherent protocols

· Working experience with ISO 26262
