NIO House Abu Dhabi Officially Opens

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 29th November 2024 - NIO has opened its first NIO House in the MENA region. The facility was inaugurated by William Li, NIO’s Founder, Chairman and CEO, Lihong Qin, Co-Founder and President, and H.E. Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Alzaabi, Chairman of CYVN Holdings, joined by NIO users and global partners. NIO House Abu Dhabi is the first NIO House opened across the Middle East and North Africa.

NIO House Abu Dhabi, spanning 970 square meters, finds its home on Al Maryah Island, the city’s financial district and a renowned lifestyle destination, offering a sophisticated experience in the heart of the capital. Situated within The Galleria Al Maryah Island, NIO House Abu Dhabi invites visitors to explore a unique journey that reflects the essence of Abu Dhabi.

NIO has partnered with the renowned design firm KOKAISTUDIOS, which boasts a diverse cultural background, to seamlessly blend NIO's pure, human, sophisticated and progressive design DNA with the elegant, innovative, and vibrant urban culture of Abu Dhabi. The design draws inspiration from the surrounding desert and Gulf environments, incorporating these elements into the materials and colors used in the architectural decor to add a fresh, localized touch. This collaboration aims to establish the NIO Center | Abu Dhabi as a creative space that inspires, connects communities, and resonates with the spirit of the city.

Tailored with the Abu Dhabi community in mind, NIO House offers an environment that appeals to those who value innovation and premium experience. it features lounges, event and meeting spaces, café and a display of NIO’s cutting-edge smart electric vehicles. Inspired by the region, NIO Café serves two exclusive drinks: the“Golden Saffron Latte” and the refreshing “Saffron Rose Refresher.”

On the opening day of NIO House Abu Dhabi, NIO also announced that EL8 (ES8 in China) had been delivered in the UAE market, while the delivery of EC6 and ET5 was going to start in Q1 2025. The first Power Swap Station in MENA will be in operation at the end of 2025.
