SHANGHAI, China, July 01, NIO delivered 21,209 vehicles in June 2024, representing an increase of 98.1% year-over-year. NIO delivered 57,373 vehicles in the second quarter of 2024, representing an increase of 143.9% year-over-year.

From June 25 to 27, UNDP MSME Week was held in Chengdu. Feng SHEN, NIO’s Executive Vice President & Chairman of Quality Management Committee, was invited to attend and gave a keynote speech entitled "NIO's Sustainable Practices and Empowerment for MSMEs".

NIO Releases 2023 ESG Report 

The first batch of NIO Power Swap Station 4.0 went live. The fourth generation supports automated battery swap for multiple brands and different vehicle models. NIO, ONVO and all battery swap strategic partners can access the new stations for a comprehensively elevated battery swapping experience that is more convenient than gas refueling.

Total revenues were RMB9,908.6 million (US$1,372.3 million) in the first quarter of 2024, representing a decrease of 7.2% from the first quarter of 2023 and a decrease of 42.1% from the fourth quarter of 2023.

NIO Reports Unaudited First Quarter 2024 Financial Results

NIO delivered 20,544 vehicles in May 2024, representing a substantial increase of 233.8% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 12,164 premium smart electric SUVs, and 8,380 premium smart electric sedans. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 515,811 as of May 31, 2024.

The "NIO House | Amsterdam" has officially opened its doors. The grand opening event was attended by NIO's founder, chairman, and CEO William Li, co-founder and president Qin Lihong, representatives of NIO's European user community, and over 200 partners and guests. William Li and NIO Netherlands General Manager Ruben Keuter jointly performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

NIO and FAW Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at Jilin-Anhui Joint Development Forum. With Qiu Xiandong, Chairman of BOD, Secretary of the CPC FAW Group Committee, and William LI, Founder, Chairman and CEO of NIO, attending the ceremony, Sun Huibin, President of FAW Group's Strategy and Cooperation Department, and Fei SHEN, Senior Vice President of NIO, signed the agreement on behalf of the two companies.

FORTUNE China released 2024 FORTUNE CHINA ESG IMPACT LIST, and NIO successfully made the list. The list includes 101 companies, including 70 Chinese companies and 31 foreign companies in China. NIO is one of the three automotive companies on the list.
