What's New with NIO in April?

NIO delivered 15,620 vehicles in April 2024, representing a strong increase of 134.6% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 8,817 premium smart electric SUVs, and 6,803 premium smart electric sedans. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 495,267 as of April 30, 2024.

Auto China 2024 (the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition) officially opens. Under the theme “Lead the Change”, the smart electric vehicle company NIO has presented eight 2024 models, including the smart electric executive sedan ET7, which was officially launched at the auto show.

NIO Brings Its 2024 Model Lineup and Full-Stack Technologies to Auto China

NIO will attend Auto China 2024 (18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition) with the theme “Lead the Change” and will present its eight 2024 models to the public for the first time. The 2024 ET5 and the 2024 ES7 in China will be debut, while the 2024 ET7, NIO’s smart premium electric executive sedan, will be launched in China at the auto show.

NIO was awarded two certificates for validating and verifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions based on the ISO 14064 standard by the international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification body TÜV Rheinland Greater China (TÜV Rheinland).

The EL6 is the latest smart EV from NIO to achieve the maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. The EL6 is the fourth NIO model, joining both ET5 and its Touring derivative, and EL7 to receive the highest award bestowed to vehicles that offer “overall excellent performance in crash protection and are well equipped with comprehensive and robust crash avoidance technology.”

NIO, a global company for smart electric vehicles, officially opened its Smart Driving Technology Center in Schönefeld near Berlin today. It is the first center of its kind outside of China and is proof of the company’s international footprint.

NIO delivered 11,866 vehicles in March 2024, increasing by 14.3% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 6,737 premium smart electric SUVs, and 5,129 premium smart electric sedans. NIO delivered 30,053 vehicles in the first quarter of 2024. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 479,647 as of March 31, 2024.

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (“CATL”) and NIO signed the framework agreement in Beijing. The two companies are set to carry out innovation in the R&D of long-life batteries according to the needs of NIO’s power swap.
