NIO Phone, a flagship phone launched by NIO in 2023, received the 2024 iF DESIGN AWARD in Germany. It was commented by the panel as a product "not only a mobile phone, but also a link between users and NIO vehicles".

NIO delivered 8,132 vehicles in February 2024. The deliveries consisted of 4,765 premium smart electric SUVs, and 3,367 premium smart electric sedans. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 467,781 as of February 29, 2024.

Shanghai, China, February 26, 2024 - Southern Power Generation (Guangdong) Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. ("CSG Energy Storage Technology") and NIO Energy Investment (Hubei) Co., Ltd. ("NIO Power") entered into a framework cooperation agreement in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Witnessed by Liu Guogang, Chairman and Party Secretary of China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Co., Ltd. ("CSG Energy Storage"), and William Li, Founder, Chairman and CEO of NIO, Wang Zhiqiang, Chairman of CSG Energy Storage Technology, and Shen Fei, Senior Vice President of NIO, signed the agreement. Li Dinglin, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of CSG Energy Storage, Lu Wensheng, Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Committee of CSG Energy Storage, Harry He, Head of NIO Power System Management, and Hu Weifeng, Head of NIO Power V2G attended the ceremony.

CSG Energy Storage Technology and NIO Power Join Hands in VPP and Battery Swap

On February 1, 2024, NIO announced that in January 2024, NIO delivered 10,055 vehicles in January 2024, increasing by 18.2% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 6,307 premium smart electric SUVs, and 3,748 premium smart electric sedans. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 459,649 as of January 31, 2024.

On January 17, 2024, NIO was listed among the 2024 Global 100 by Corporate Knights. Among all the 6,733 companies evaluated, NIO ranks No. 50, up by 29 ranks from 2023. 

NIO in Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations List for 2 Consecutive Years 

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) officially announced the 2023 Green Manufacturing List, and NIO was successfully named to the list of Green Supply Chain Management Enterprises after multiple rounds of assessment. This is the first time that NIO has been selected into this list.

On January 1, 2024, NIO announced that in December 2023, NIO delivered 18,012 vehicles, a year-over-year increase of 13.9%. In the fourth quarter of 2023, NIO delivered 50,045 vehicles, representing an increase of 25% year-over-year. NIO delivered 160,038 vehicles in 2023 in total, increasing by 30.7% year-over-year. Cumulative deliveries of NlO vehicles reached 449,594 as of December 31, 2023.

Xi'an, China, December 23 - NIO Day, an annual gathering of NIO and its users, was successfully held in Xi'an with the theme of "A New Journey" this year. Over 2,000 NIO users participated comprehensively in preparation for NIO Day, including event planning, stage performances, and hospitalities, and more than 10,000 users were present at Xi'an Olympic Sports Center Stadium for the event.

On November 30th, 2023, NIO reached a total of 30 Power Swap Stations (PSS) across 5 European markets and over 2,200 worldwide. Today. NIO continued its European expansion of the Charging and Battery Swapping services with the opening of two new PSSs in Malmö and Arlandastad, Sweden. Both PSS belong to the third generation, which can perform up to 408 swaps per day and store up to 21 batteries.
