In the early days of NIO, we were tiny. Our founders, William Li and LiHong Qin, were often discussing how to bring a premium experience to our users, as they believed our products and technologies will redefine the car ownership experience.
In the beginning, William's vision was to not only produce smart high-performance premium vehicles, but also bring a joyful lifestyle to our users. We knew, as is everywhere, our weekends are hectic, and it's nice to have a comfortable place to relax and hang out. So we created "Joy Camp," our childcare center, to make this environment, allowing our users to drop off their kids and enjoy a bit of personal time when they visit NIO Houses. They can enjoy a signature coffee or tea with their spouses, partners, or friends at the NIO café, and maybe even watch a movie. Again, it went with the idea of freeing up our users' time to bring joyful lifestyle.

William was inspired by TED talks and thought that it provides a great platform for people to share common values and lessons. So there are conference rooms/forums built in the NIO Houses, where our users share vacation photos in our Forums, enjoy small group lectures, and learn from each other. Usually, you'll find similar formats at technology stores or other venues, but more often than not, it is related to the products or merchandise in the store. At NIO House, the Forums are not always about our cars, but everything about our lifestyle.

Today, NIO House is far beyond than just a showroom. It’s also a home that provides a premium NIO lifestyle which allows our users to relax, recharge, innovate, and more.
