NIO Attends Auto Guangzhou 2025
Under the theme “Innovate to New Horizons,” NIO brought its product and technology lineup to the 23rd Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou 2025). As NIO celebrates the 9th anniversary of the NIO brand and logo, it introduced two new color themes for its smart electric executive flagship ET9 Horizon Edition: First Light and Sunlit Peak, with prices starting from RMB 818,000 for outright purchase, or RMB 710,000 with the BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) subscription plan.

2025 marks a milestone year for NIO, as the Company has been accelerating its infrastructure expansion, rolling out major products, and realizing the technological progress built over a decade of innovation. With a strong lineup of new models and special editions, NIO continues to set new standards across various price points and market segments. At Auto Guangzhou 2025, NIO presents a comprehensive and refreshed lineup featuring the flagship ET9, the All-New ES8, the New ET5, ET5T, ES6, and EC6, as well as multiple special editions, including the New ES6 Milestone Edition, the New ET5T Noir Version, and two new themes of the ET9 Horizon Edition unveiled for the first time. This lineup demonstrates NIO’s full strength in product innovation and technological advancement.
To celebrate the milestone of 90 million battery swaps, NIO brings a special co-branded Power Swap Station to the auto show. In collaboration with Coca-Cola, the station features a refreshed, Coca-Cola–inspired design under the theme “3-Minute Swap, Pure Joy Ahead.” Limited-edition, NIO-branded Coca-Cola is also available at the venue, adding a spark of shared joy from both brands.
Over the years, NIO has made continuous investment in charging and swapping infrastructure, with the goal of establishing the world’s most extensive and capable power network for electric vehicles. As of November 21, 2025, NIO has 8,380 recharging stations in China, including 3,576 Power Swap Stations and 4,804 charging stations with 27,444 chargers, leading the industry.
NIO has deployed 451 Power Swap Stations and 505 charging stations with 3,622 chargers across Guangdong Province, covering all 122 districts and counties.
With 11 years of continuous investment in recharging infrastructure and core technologies, NIO’s battery electric models now deliver experiences exceeding that of traditional ICE vehicles in many scenarios. EV travel is increasingly reassuring and convenient. William Li, NIO’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO, commented, “2025 is a turning point where the experience advantages of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) outweigh the inconvenience of charging.”
The All-New ES8 launched in September exemplifies this trend. Leveraging its advantages in space, driving, and comfort enabled by BEV technologies, the All-New ES8 has continued to gain traction in the premium large three-row SUV segment, delivering 10,000 units in just 41 days and setting a new record as the fastest BEV model priced above RMB 400,000 to surpass this milestone.
As more battery electric three-row SUVs enter the market, their sales growth has already outpaced that of range-extended, plug-in hybrid, and ICE models, affirming that the battery electric era for large three-row SUVs has truly arrived.
As an epitome of NIO’s 12 full-stack technological capabilities, the All-New ES8 elevates the premium experience to new heights, blending original design with cutting-edge technology and aesthetics to reflect users’ exceptional taste. With generous space for six people and 12 suitcases, it enables effortless travel. The intelligent chassis system ensures smooth drives and stable rides. Inside, the immersive cabin featuring both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, together with the fully upgraded NOMI Intelligence, delivers a class-leading user experience.
Olympic champion Yi Siling and renowned actor-singer Wallace Chung made a joint appearance at NIO’s booth as users of the All-New ES8. As an all-scenario technology flagship capable of replacing an MPV, the All-New ES8 is designed to meet the needs of business engagements, family journeys, and personal moments alike. NIO is also offering exclusive gifts to users awaiting their ES8 deliveries. These include tickets to the concerts of Karen Mok, the All-New ES8’s Chief Experience Officer, further enhancing anticipation and ownership experiences.
NIO first introduced its brand identity in November 2016. The upper arc of the NIO logo symbolizes the sky and vision, while the lower part represents the earth and action. Where the two meet lies the horizon, symbolizing hope and a new beginning. On the 9th anniversary of this unveiling, the ET9 Horizon Edition presents two new color themes that pay tribute to NIO’s brand philosophy and to all innovative pioneers who put vision in action.
At this year’s NIO Day, the ET9 Horizon Edition’s first theme, “Mirror of Sky,” was launched. NIO integrates cutting-edge technology with artistic design, and continues to release exclusive themes for its executive flagship under the Horizon concept.
Both new themes draw inspiration from breathtaking horizons across the globe. First Light, with New Moon Silver layered over Deep Black, echoes the serene yet powerful moment when dawn breaks over the black-sand beaches of Vík, Iceland. Sunlit Peak, blending Nebula Red and Sunlight Gold, captures the radiant glow of Meili Snow Mountain in Yunnan, as its peaks ignite in golden light at daybreak. The NIO ET9 is not only a flagship of executive excellence and technological advancement, but also a design flagship, redefining luxury through the natural beauty of sky and earth.
